Clukey Begins Recovery Process
On March 11, Olympian Julia Clukey had successful surgery in Los Angeles, California to address her symptoms associated with Arnold-Chiari Syndrome, a defect in the bottom portion of the brain which can limit blood flow to the spinal column.
“The surgery went really well. I am resting quite a bit, but the road to recovery has begun. I hope to bring some of this California sunshine back to Maine with me. I would like to thank Dr. Bray and the staff at the D.I.S.C. Sports and Spine Center for their top notch treatment,” said Clukey.
